As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, my primary goal is to empower you to create positive, permanent changes in your health habits and behaviors. My specialty is understanding how our thoughts and behaviors affect our health – and how to change them.
Since you’re here right now, I’m guessing there’s some work you’d like to do in the area of nutrition and health.
Wherever you are on your health journey is perfect. Trust me, I’ve worked with many people who are in the exact same place as you.
I don’t have a magic pill or get-fit-quick tricks up my sleeve, what I do have is a passion for helping people create new healthy habits that stick, backed up by years of knowledge and practice.
In 2008, I received a Bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Delaware, and in 2013 I received a second Bachelor’s in Dietetics. After passing the RD exam in 2014, I worked in a variety of settings such as nursing homes, hospitals and outpatient clinics. During that time I was expanding my knowledge, perfecting my coaching methods, and using what I learned to improve my own health – I also met a lot of kick-ass dietitians along the way 🙂
In 2017, I realized that while I loved my job, I didn’t feel completely fulfilled. I wanted to create my own practice where I could focus solely on what I’m passionate about: helping people to positively change their health behaviors once and for all.
And you may have noticed there’s a lot of noise out there about the “right way” to be healthy, but I’m not interested in a one-size-fits-all approach; I’m interested in what works for YOU.
